Become a Resilience Champion!
The Chester County ACEs Coalition invites passionate individuals and organizations to join our Resilience Champions initiative — a network committed to promoting trauma awareness, education, and healing across our community.
What is a Resilience Champion?
Resilience Champions are community members or professionals who support the mission of the Chester County ACEs Coalition by promoting awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), trauma, and the importance of resilience.
There are two pathways to get involved:
For Individuals
Are you passionate about helping others understand and heal from trauma? As a Resilience Champion, you will:
Share educational resources in your community and online.
Help identify individuals and families who could benefit from support or training.
Advocate for trauma-informed approaches in schools, neighborhoods, and civic spaces.
Attend Chester County ACEs Coalition sponsored events and meetings when possible.
For Organizations
If your organization is committed to fostering resilience, nominate someone to serve as your internal Resilience Champion. This person will:
Advocate for trauma-informed policies and practices.
Partner with the Chester County ACEs Coalition Coordinator to organize trainings for staff.
Encourage a trauma-aware culture through internal education and evaluation.
Help connect your organization with other like-minded partners.
