Lynn Detwiler, Founder and Executive Director of Barnstone Art for Kids, presented an overview about the impacts of ACEs and how building resiliency plays a key role.  Cathleen Walkins and Bernice Andrews, from the Institute for Family Professionals, led an interactive exercise explaining the many layers of trauma and how the brain is affected.
The many layers of trauma.

We had a diverse crowd of attendees from many disciplines throughout the county.  We look forward to continuing the work with this motivated group!
